About Jenny Lesser

Jenny Lesser is a multidisciplinary artist from Seattle, Washington. Her watercolor, acrylic and mixed media paintings use organic shapes and bold colors to represent multi-perspective narratives and dreamscapes. Jenny collaborates with designers and national design companies to create functional art furniture.

Jenny Lesser’s comics and graphic narratives, drawn by hand and painted with watercolor, have been published in Narrative Magazine, The Offing, Shenandoah, and other literary journals and magazines.

Jenny attended the University of Pennsylvania, where she received a B.A. in English Literature. She was a regular cartoonist for the Daily Pennsylvanian, where she contributed weekly political cartoons and illustrations.

Jenny Lesser’s psychology is shaped by the minimalist music she listens to from the 60s and 70s and the speculative fiction she reads. She is working on a graphic novel.
